Caring for the brain-injured. Non-Profit 501(c)3
Headway House, Inc. is a community based, long-term residential program located in the San Fernando Valley for people with life altering Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). We provide our clients with a caring staff, home-like setting, day programs including recreation, and physical therapy. TBI happens to over two million people every year. It happens SUDDENLY and it changes lives FOREVER!
Headway House, Inc. is one of very few organizations in California to offer long and short-term residential care for people with Traumatic Brain Injury. They come to us with many challenges: cognitive, perceptual, speech and language, memory and motor deficits — all results of their injuries. Our goal is to help them reclaim some of the life skills that were lost in their accidents — and it’s working.
